Abrasive Wheels

This course involves both classroom and practical modules. Covering angle grinders fitted with either cutting or grinding wheels, bench grinders and cut off saws. This is a half day course for up to 10 delegates.

Rescue Package

Placing Leaders Training offer a course that has been developed in line with major changes in legislation, this course will ensure that companies comply with the legal requirement to have some form of rescue plan on site.

This is a half day course for up to 10 delegates.

Manual Handling This course is designed to compliment the Health & Safety in the Workplace. The course is aimed at those who undertake any manual handling activities at work. The module introduces students to the hazards of manual handling, the risks and controls available and how to format a risk assessment.

Successful completion of this module will prepare candidates to look carefully at their own work activities and contribute to the development of safer methods and tasks in co-operation with their managers and supervisors, with the aim of reducing injuries related to manual handling.

Working at Height Courses Level 1 & Level 2

Basic Height Safety Course Level 1

This course focuses on height safety applicable to the construction industry and covers all aspects of training to cover you and your operatives legally in regards to the working at height regulations 2005.

The course has been designed with your operatives in mind with minimum time spent in the classroom and maximum time on site using the actual equipment they have been issued with already. This course gives you peace of mind that your operatives have been trained safely and will be using their safety equipment correctly.

Advanced Height Safety Course Level 2

The Advanced working at height course has been designed for those of you who plan, supervise or organise working at height, it covers the trades and specific work methodology that are found in today’s build programmers.

Placing leaders training will ensure that following your working at height training you will be confident that you know how to identify good or bad practice and also how to rectify problems. Certification provided will also give you the knowledge that you will be covered in relation to the working at height regulations 2005.

The course is split up into key areas with group exercises and power point presentations to ensure that retention of the information provided is as easy as possible.
